We’re 7! 🧁

Foch woman turns 7 today.

Something that started with a personal bible study after classes everyday in 2016, has grown to this global vision and mission, mothering several initiatives, projects and causes.

Couldn’t have envisaged that the day the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart to gather my 10 friends and share what He had been teaching me about a FOCH woman, that we would grow to this level or have this level of engagement, both online and offline.

Hence why I’m an avid believer in telling people to just start when Abba says go. As the light shines on your path, you continue to move and one day you just look up and look back and see the distance covered.

It’s truly a humbling reality.

I’ve been on a retreat the last two weeks, so I’ve spent quite some time reflecting, reminiscing and praying, and as I sat thinking on the reach and impact of Foch woman, I got reminded of the widows mite, which represented everything the widow had in that very instance. Throwing it all to God.

With Foch woman, it’s a similar story, as a novice, naive first year software engineering student, I just threw myself in God after being exposed to the university atmosphere and thinking, this can’t be all there is to life and living, and God took my all, which I really didn’t think much of and has grown me and by extension all of us to this mighty army that Foch woman has become, and still becoming.

Something told me it was only scratching the surface of what God wants to do with us, both in reach and impact, so I’m not letting go of how we’ve made it here, because it’s how we’ll get to where God is taking us. I don’t ever forget that how you start, is how you will be sustained.

So here is a heartfelt Thank you, to you who’s reading this, whether first timer or avid Foch woman blog reader. Somehow you’re part of our vision and story and I hope your heart has been transformed, even in the slightest by just exposing yourself to the content of Foch woman blog, podcast or event, in whatever capacity.

I’m excited for the coming days, much beckons on us and we’re answering by the special grace of God, one big one in sight being Foch devotional 2024! God has really granted open heavens towards its content and I remain in awe of the majestic display of His splendour in all forms.

So as we celebrate 7, please binge on the blog, binge on the podcast, share the links with a friend or two, but most importantly, pray for us, because the journey ahead is great.

Today and the last 7 years, we testify that “Thus far the Lord has helped us”.
