God’s secret weapon

I remember growing up and having slumber parties with my friends where we did a lot of truth games. Almost all the time, the question that would bring someone to lose is when they request the person to ‘tell their biggest secret’. And the person would refuse and so would automatically have to leave the game.

As I’ve grown older, I realised that that question didn’t make any sense. No disrespect to my younger self and friends, obviously we didn’t realise this then. All we knew was we were playing a game and if the bottle  was spun and the top stopped facing you, you had to answer whatever question, even if that question was to reveal your deepest secret.

A secret ceases to be a secret if it was let out. If everyone knew it, why would we call it a secret?

Exactly my point.

It might interest you to know that God has secrets. Not the way you’re thinking it but secrets like amazing secrets. His word says “The secret of the Lord is with them that fear Him, and He will show them His covenant.”

In a book, ‘The Esther anointing‘, the author described us (women) as God’s secret agents.

And as I pondered on that, something was dropped in my heart. And it was about battle, war and preparation and I remembered a movie I watched which depicted what happens before, during and after a battle and war. And from the movie, I could see that chief commanders and war strategists saved their best weapons for the last attacks usually because the enemy doesn’t see it coming at all. It just comes as an unexpected force that makes the most impact most times.

You are God’s secret weapon and you have been called for such a time as this. As a secret weapon, just as a secret is hidden, people don’t usually know you until you attack and at that, most people still don’t see you. All they do is feel your impact.

So, you know what God does, He prepares His secret weapons in secret. The quiet time is meant to be preparation time. It’s in those times you’re designed, refurbished and equipped for the task ahead.

If you are not spending time at all or not enough time in preparation phase, you delay the whole process and so when the time for your attack comes, there’ll either be a drastic impact on your side or someone else would be appointed for that attack.

No one wants that, at least I know i don’t want that. I want to be prepared and ready at all times for use and it should be the same with you FOCH woman.

Another key thing I noted in the movie was how the war strategists drew out the battle plans and allocated times for different weapons or attacks. It is the same with God. You have a particular time for your manifestation. So when you get caught up comparing and contrasting, what you’re doing is distracting yourself from preparation for your own attack.

God has a territory for you. The place where only you would be able to do what you do the way you do it. The attack He is preparing you for, but unless you get and stay in the preparation place, you can neither know the territory or know where your attack will make the impact that it should.

Don’t underestimate the power of your quiet time. It’s as important as the food you need to eat everyday.
