Failed Love <>

April 4, 2020April 4, 20203 Comments

There was a post scheduled to go out on Valentine’s Day this year, but it never got out, I can’t remember why but looking at it now, I think I refrained from sending it out because I was more interested in people feeling loved than regretting their past love on that day. I had tagged … Continue reading Failed Love <>

“4 years down the drain”

April 2, 20205 Comments

I will always be in awe of God. Always. I’m lying in my bed but I can’t sleep because I keep thinking about how God chooses to connect dots that we often attribute to “coincidence”. I sat with a friend talking, we randomly remembered an event that led us to a couple and I remember … Continue reading “4 years down the drain”

Changing to Accommodate my Neighbour

March 31, 20201 Comment

I was watching a movie with a friend recently, one of the characters in the movie had been wronged and she was very livid. This character had quite a strong personality, and by 'strong' I mean, she was generally confident, outspoken and very sanguine. The person who had wronged her on the other end was … Continue reading Changing to Accommodate my Neighbour

Running back to the cross

March 30, 2020May 2, 2020Leave a comment

A friend and I crossed a new threshold recently. I have found that friendships grow stronger bonds the more vulnerability grows, so essentially, the more open you are with letting people into your space, the more bonded you'll be. Our levels of friendships with different people vary with the levels of vulnerability in each of … Continue reading Running back to the cross

Please who is lying ?

I have been privileged to work in church leadership & ministry for almost 11 years now, started two years into high school and have continued up until now. My passion with doing Gods work is tied to seeing His kingdom advance in sound doctrine and improved quality of life in the lives of new converts, … Continue reading Please who is lying ?

Strong X & Sensitive Z

March 23, 2020Leave a comment

I often  find myself comparing Generation Z & the millennials (Generation Y) to our parents generation (Generation X), it is interesting for me to see how things have evolved over time including mindsets and disciplines. It never gets old to me when I do something and I hear my mum say "in my time..." or … Continue reading Strong X & Sensitive Z

Leading us to rest

March 13, 2020Leave a comment

About 2 weeks ago now, my older sister came to the family group chat on whats app to announce that our family dog had been taken away. We have a thing for dogs in my family so we've always had one all through our lives, from childhood to adulthood. We got steward about 4 years … Continue reading Leading us to rest

“Don’t mess with her”

March 9, 2020Leave a comment

I am convinced beyond every reasonable doubt that we are all products of our environments, and just for this reason, we need to be a lot more gracious and tolerant of people because more often than not, people act in accordance to what was acceptable, expected and tolerated in the environments they grew up in, … Continue reading “Don’t mess with her”

The reminder in the burn

March 6, 2020March 9, 20202 Comments

I burnt my fingers a couple of days ago, 3 of them on my right hand, two of the burns were on the palm side of my fingers, one was on the skin part of my finger. The one of the skin part just got a blister after a few hours, but the one of … Continue reading The reminder in the burn

Moments of truth – The man of God that wouldn’t become my husband

March 2, 20206 Comments

I was talking to a close friend over the weekend and she was sharing something that didn't sit well with her with regards someone she was looking to enter a committed relationship with. So what was happening was she'll complain about the thing that irks her and then she'll say 'but he's an amazing christian, … Continue reading Moments of truth – The man of God that wouldn’t become my husband

Complete Woman

I don’t know about you but I have always prayed to God to make me the woman after His heart.
Have you ever imagined how David felt?
Well I have and I figured I wanted to feel that way.
We’re on that journey now to becoming the women after God’s heart.

We’re not attempting to earn a spot, we have a spot already, we’re living purposely to look like the thoughts God had before creating us.
