Dear Saint,

As often as you remember today, spend some time praying in the Spirit. There’s a lot happening in the spiritual realm, there’s always a lot going on in the spiritual realm, but this battle is one of territories and to quote one of my all time faves, “A territory echoes the voice of the occupants”. Our territory needs to echo our voice.

We have the authority and victory already if you’ve forgotten, so this should eliminate every iota of fear.

We’re empowered by the spirit of God to pray and have much availed to us.

“For although we live in the natural realm, we don’t wage a military campaign employing human weapons, using manipulation to achieve our aims. Instead, our spiritual weapons are energized with divine power to effectively dismantle the defenses behind which people hide.”

2 Corinthians 10:3-4 TPT

From your co-99, raising prayers for the 1’s who’s souls are in fierce battle.

Dear Fochwoman, I have never quit understood what is meant by ‘praying in the Spirit’. Should one pray in ‘tongues’? Should one request additional prayer worriers to cover in prayer the one praying ‘in the spirit’? Could requesting prayer warriors accompaniment help to protect her from the firery darts of the enemy. Also, does one conduct this time in prayer in a quiet place, in their church, and should one be in a certain posture? I am serious and prayerful in my inquiry for further insight on your request. Please advise. In the Precious Name of Jesus, Amen!

      Hey,
Praying in the spirit essentially means praying in tongues. The bible says that
“For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit.”- 1 Corinthians 14:2. Praying in tongues is one of the ways we’re empowered by baptism in the Holy Spirit. We become able to speak in tongues, though unfruitful to our understanding, the bible says it’s mysteries to God.
There are several benefits of praying in tongues and it does not require an additional prayer warrior to cover a person.

We’re covered already by the blood of Jesus. No fiery darts of the enemy is permitted to come to our dwelling place. He gives His angels charge over us to keep us in all our ways.

Praying in tongues must become a lifestyle, just like we pray in our understanding as often as we can, we should form same habit with praying in tongues.
See Ephesians 6:18 – “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.”

After admonishing us to wear the full armour of God, that chapter concludes by also asking us pray in the spirit “on all occasions”.

The time for praying in the spirit is every time and location shouldn’t matter at all, neither should posture. Do it whenever and wherever. We are edified in praying in the Spirit. (1 Corinthians 14:4 -Anyone who speaks in a tongue edifies themselves, but the one who prophesies edifies the church.).

I hope this provides more clarity and light.
