Your Best Version

February 25, 2019Leave a comment

I sat in church this evening and realised how predictable this life was intended to be, especially in relation to us and the idea of 'the best way to cruise through life'. (ps. that would make such an amazing book title), but funny how if I saw such a book in a store, knowing myself, … Continue reading Your Best Version

Sincerity in Pain

February 25, 2019April 9, 2019Leave a comment

I sat over coffee a few days ago with an old friend, I didn't go with any expectation to the meeting which is very unlike me so when the conversation started to drive itself, I let it, just inwardly hoping my companion wouldn't feel an awkwardness. We got into our growth and relationship with God … Continue reading Sincerity in Pain

Moments of Truth – Arranged Marriages?

February 18, 2019February 18, 2019Leave a comment

An interesting part of being a blogger is that you don't know all the people who read your blog and so it makes meeting new people interesting, like when they start conversations with a title to a blog post or simply a line from your blog post. It's really heart warming until it is one … Continue reading Moments of Truth – Arranged Marriages?

God and Good, Good and God

February 17, 2019February 18, 2019Leave a comment

Several months ago I had a conversation with someone over a statement I made in a post, I said 'Good isn't always God but God is always Good', and My friend couldn't understand how I could separate the two and He kept referencing the verse that said 'Every good gift comes from God'. I completely … Continue reading God and Good, Good and God

Selfish sometimes makes Selfless.

February 17, 2019February 18, 2019Leave a comment

The Month is running by very quickly so i'm hoping you're squashing those goals and even documenting it as you do so! I'm not entirely 100 with mine, but we're getting there and trusting God for all the grace and strength! The last few weeks have been a breeze, by that I mean fast, cold … Continue reading Selfish sometimes makes Selfless.

What does the Faux in Faux Locs mean?

February 7, 2019February 18, 20194 Comments

I was home for Christmas last year and few days before getting back, I was confronted with the ever frequent decision of what hair I was going to make for the next few weeks, and so as always, I created a mental picture of what I wanted and landed in the salon. As I sat … Continue reading What does the Faux in Faux Locs mean?

Don’t pressure the Now

February 4, 2019Leave a comment

I have been on a plan talking about goal setting for a few days now. The focus has been on understanding goal setting from God’s perspective and not merely what the world tells us. Every day on the plan, I’ve seen something that has linked to one main thing and I’ve seen how important this … Continue reading Don’t pressure the Now

Culture difference pt 1

February 2, 2019Leave a comment

The western culture is actually really funny, I know the African culture have their hiccups here and there but I’m more inclined to be all and for it in spite of the trouble it causes us sometimes. I was at an event a couple of weeks ago and half way into it, I walk out … Continue reading Culture difference pt 1

Are eggs scared of getting crushed?

January 28, 2019April 29, 20192 Comments

I woke up this morning with a horrible memory of the unfortunate event that happened on the morning of my birthday this year, I had just had a shower and got dressed and my plan was to get to the store to pick up a few other things for the day, as well as the … Continue reading Are eggs scared of getting crushed?

Pick me Please!

January 26, 2019July 26, 2019Leave a comment

This title came to me while I was sat a lecture in Uni, and I remember I giggled out loud, completely oblivious to my environment. There's a group of people on twitter that they call 'Pick me' twitter. Basically, twitter believe that these set of people always design their tweets to appear like they are … Continue reading Pick me Please!

Complete Woman

I don’t know about you but I have always prayed to God to make me the woman after His heart.
Have you ever imagined how David felt?
Well I have and I figured I wanted to feel that way.
We’re on that journey now to becoming the women after God’s heart.

We’re not attempting to earn a spot, we have a spot already, we’re living purposely to look like the thoughts God had before creating us.
