I have recently finished studying the book of Job, I have had more questions than I had the previous times i’ve read it. I’ve not had questions in any other book the way I’ve had with the book of Job and I think I know why. The book gives us a perspective of a person … Continue reading Doesn’t it sound familiar?

Open your eyes!
The devil sees environments conducive for his operations and he takes full advantage of it. He doesn’t care how that environment came to be, he just sees opportunity to promote his agenda and he does not relent until his full agenda of killing, stealing and destroying is done. Sometimes we feel hurt in our hearts … Continue reading Open your eyes!
Feel what I feel
I woke up this morning very sober, it happens very rarely, but today, I could tell something was different. I got up and sat down at the side of my bed and I started praying. As I prayed, I began to cry, this is not new to me, as I cry often when I pray, … Continue reading Feel what I feel
Taking the easy way out
It has been a very interesting couple of days for the entire world. The evil that injustice is has somehow been amplified through the occurrences of the last few days. It has been heart-wrenching to scroll through timelines on social media or even have decent conversations with people without them voicing out their frustration, anger … Continue reading Taking the easy way out
Crumbled to be strengthened
2 months ago I woke up to a number of disturbing texts from a close friend. She was in a funny state of mind, suddenly, she couldn’t pray, she struggled to worship and she began to question everything in our faith. I stumbled on a page a few weeks ago on Instagram, I really love aesthetically pleasing feeds and this person's arrangement happened to catch my attention. Her first post fortunately was on 20 facts about her, so I busied myself reading 20 facts about this stranger who curated such a beautiful feed. I am quite … Continue reading Heaven sounds stressful
Continue from where I stopped?
I had to edit a document someone had worked on today, I cannot count the number of times I stopped, took a deep breathe and said out loud, "God you have to help me". I was actually slightly angry and my anger was on how I assumed my work would be easier just editing, but … Continue reading Continue from where I stopped?
Name = Nature
Something really funny happened in high school a few years ago. One of the hostel mistresses had done something really uncalled for and she would not let me explain so I snapped at her and I told her that if she would not listen to me, I will also not listen to her (I do … Continue reading Name = Nature
Power Hungry
I have been studying the books of Samuel the last 2 weeks and I find it so interesting how the things that plague the hearts of men hasn’t changed much at all. By saying men, I actually refer to both genders. Men have remained so hungry and desirous of power and fame to the point that … Continue reading Power Hungry
To stay or walk away?
I think we’ve heard it said so often that no one is perfect, some people say it stating the reality of the human flesh we dwell in and some others just use it as an excuse to dismiss ill behaviours. Either way, a message is always conveyed, this message is that ‘another human will fall … Continue reading To stay or walk away?
