Embrace the settings on the washing machine

June 27, 2018April 29, 2019Leave a comment

Once again, I forgot to turn the knob of the washing machine to the wool icon. So it washed my wool in cotton temperature, intensity and speed. So my beautiful woven sweater came out shrunk, slacked and just not the same. I was extremely mad. Fast forward to the same night, I was reading about … Continue reading Embrace the settings on the washing machine

What does your cover look like today?

March 31, 2018April 29, 2019Leave a comment

I personally think it can be a disadvantage to know something for so long. For some reason, it begins to move to a point you've known it so much, you don't value it's potency or realise it's true meaning. A lot of times it is unconscious really so no shade at anyone. If I got … Continue reading What does your cover look like today?

The Fiercest Battle

February 4, 2018April 29, 2019Leave a comment

The only physical battle some of us will ever fight is with our siblings. Not all of us will get to fight as part of an army on a battle ground. I can't say it's something I've wished to do but it raises a lot of curiosity when I do watch it in movies or … Continue reading The Fiercest Battle

“You create time for the things you love”

November 5, 2017April 29, 2019Leave a comment

I can't count the number of times I have heard this line. The frequency of hearing it is even higher in the last few months because adulthood is making an appearance and unlike polite levels in life, its coming like 'ready or not, here I come'. As it comes, certain things become more real and … Continue reading “You create time for the things you love”

Friendship Criteria’s?

November 4, 2017April 29, 2019Leave a comment

Friendship is one of those things we learn very early and easy in life. Being social human beings, we automatically want to be able to associate ourselves with people on a regular basis. As we grow older, we begin to see that it's beyond 'sharing your lunch with me', or 'holding my hand as we … Continue reading Friendship Criteria’s?

Focusing on you

April 18, 2017April 29, 2019Leave a comment

Hey there, Hope you're good and all is well with you, I want to believe you're being strong. Its already April! Imagine that. Happy Easter. I always wondered why Easter isn't as celebrated as Christmas is, and if you think about it, the essence of the Easter celebration should even be greater than that of … Continue reading Focusing on you

Minute feelings

March 4, 2017April 29, 2019Leave a comment

The number 3 in the world has usually been said to be a lucky number. Biblically, 3 signifies wholeness and completeness. It's the 3rd month of the year. How's the year going for you? started on cracking with those plans? Well you should because soon we'll be saying its the 7th month and then the … Continue reading Minute feelings

Tell him plainly.

February 26, 2017April 29, 2019Leave a comment

I recently got writing a scene in a book i'm currently writing where my protagonist got a call from someone she really didn't want to talk to. And from her response to her phone ringing after she saw the call, you could just tell she really didn't want to talk to him. You would expect … Continue reading Tell him plainly.

Complete Woman

I don’t know about you but I have always prayed to God to make me the woman after His heart.
Have you ever imagined how David felt?
Well I have and I figured I wanted to feel that way.
We’re on that journey now to becoming the women after God’s heart.

We’re not attempting to earn a spot, we have a spot already, we’re living purposely to look like the thoughts God had before creating us.
