“This is not it”

May 28, 2019Leave a comment

Anyone who spoke to me physically in the last 2 weeks might describe my current state of mind as lethargic, and I would not even blame them because there are some things that you might not be able to fully express or describe and as such, the listeners around would accept and interpret it as … Continue reading “This is not it”

The free-style profession

May 27, 2019Leave a comment

It is a national day to celebrate children in Nigeria today. Popularly referred to as 'Children's day' and for anyone who grew up in Nigeria, you'd know how big of a deal this was, especially as the majority of Nigerian parents tend to do their best to make it memorable. Whether out in the park … Continue reading The free-style profession

What I think I need

May 24, 2019July 26, 20194 Comments

The bible speaks of a danger in praying amiss. It says "you do not receive because you ask wrongly". So with time, we learn that praying without understanding is almost just as bad as not praying because when we pray without an understanding of what we're asking for, there is the possibility that we are … Continue reading What I think I need

Eat and stop crying!

May 17, 20192 Comments

Do we ever go to God with one thing and find that we're being focused on something else, sometimes in relation to the original request, but most times, in something completely unrelated. I remember a time in my life when I was praying for my Dad's salvation, It was a daily prayer request and it … Continue reading Eat and stop crying!

The only acceptable trials and errors

May 15, 2019May 15, 2019Leave a comment

I was thinking to myself this morning how we really do not know, until we have tried. I'm of the opinion that while experience isn't the only teacher, it is a great and practical way to get a lesson. I look at people doing certain things today and I truly admire their effort and commitment, … Continue reading The only acceptable trials and errors

What Friend are you? Flowwww or Flow?

May 12, 2019Leave a comment

I realised that there are mainly two types of friends in this world. The “it has happened, it has happened, let’s move on” gang, and the “it happened, but you were wrong, you know better for next time” gang. On first glance, the first gang appears more understanding, accommodating and even more supportive and the … Continue reading What Friend are you? Flowwww or Flow?

Chief Judges by nature

May 9, 2019May 10, 2019Leave a comment

People are so quick to use the "you don't understand" line, even when they have not done justice in explaining, they just believe that you don't or won't understand and I've learnt to be very patient with such people. Not pushing them to explain beyond what they have but admitting that yes, maybe I really … Continue reading Chief Judges by nature

Uncomfortable at Home

May 8, 20192 Comments

There's been a consistency in the lessons I've been learning in this period of my life, but what I've seen is that it is not just for me, it is a mass-teaching by the Holy Spirit to all the saints in preparation for home. Hey guys, lets get up-close and personal. I know there is … Continue reading Uncomfortable at Home

The Default settings

May 3, 20191 Comment

I think the devil has a very cunning way of getting us to do the exact thing we said we would not, whats funny about it is how we sometimes convince ourselves of having thought through whatever it is and made the best loving and logical decision. I remembered this morning how I use to … Continue reading The Default settings

“(S)He has to be God-fearing”

May 1, 2019May 1, 2019Leave a comment

Who usually has this title as a response to "What do you seek in a spouse?" Even if you don't, you've probably heard someone else say it. We all want to be with someone who is sold out to God, who believes, activates and walks by scripture and who honours God above all else! That's … Continue reading “(S)He has to be God-fearing”

Complete Woman

I don’t know about you but I have always prayed to God to make me the woman after His heart.
Have you ever imagined how David felt?
Well I have and I figured I wanted to feel that way.
We’re on that journey now to becoming the women after God’s heart.

We’re not attempting to earn a spot, we have a spot already, we’re living purposely to look like the thoughts God had before creating us.
